Globalization is the spread of ideas, technology and other cultural aspects. For example in Canada, you can walk down a street and see a whole bunch of different restaurants, Chinese,Mexican,Italian to name a few. As well if you look at your clothes, you might see that your shirt is made in China, your pants in Mexico, your shoes in Vietnam and your socks in the US. Globalization allows us to have access to things we normally wouldn't be able to get.
